英國(guó)ITV開(kāi)始根據(jù)英國(guó)女作家Val McDermid的破案小說(shuō)Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"Mermaids Singing"和"Shadows Rising"改編的英國(guó)懸疑破案劇集。之后又由其他人續(xù)寫(xiě)，后來(lái)在第四季度第二集"Torment"又改編自Val McDermid的Dr.Tony Hill中的故事"The Torment of Others"。
Dr. Tony Hill 這個(gè)角色是個(gè)大學(xué)里面的法庭心理學(xué)家，他一起與一位非常干練的女刑事探員Carol Jordan 合作破了一個(gè)又一個(gè)非常棘手的懸疑案件！
