1996年，新澤西州高中的一支名為“黃蜂”的高中女子足球隊(duì)前往西雅圖參加全國(guó)錦標(biāo)賽，她們乘坐的私人飛機(jī)在飛越加拿大時(shí)不幸墜毀在無(wú)人荒野的深處。幸存下來(lái)的隊(duì)員最終在野外生存了19個(gè)月。25年后，承受著身心創(chuàng)傷的幸存者們發(fā)現(xiàn)當(dāng)年在荒野發(fā)生的事情遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)還未結(jié)束。
